Well winter is long gone now. It is official, we may get another frost here, but that's about it. For the past few days it has been much nicer.  My seedlings are ready to grow in the ground now and some even got sunburned today.

In the heat of the day today I did get a twinge of nostalgia for winter. I do love winter and could not live without it. There are no bugs, the horizon is not blocked by leaves, birds that saty can be seen and animals tracks are easy to see. A stark beauty exists in the cold morning light.

Of course one of my favourite things to do in winter is to take beauty ou dog for a run. She loves to chase snowballs and roll around in the snow. The joy she gets from those walks radiates out from her and making me happy as well.

Winter will be back soon and it is a bit soon to be missing it yet. Comet the dog days of summer I will be waiting with baited breath for a chilly wind.
